LONG STORY SHORT
More about Odeline
Passionate about creating and building “things” as a child, Odeline oriented herself toward a specialization in Applied Art and Design starting in high school. She continued with a BA in Product Design and finally obtained her Master of Industrial Design in 2011 at the University of La Martiniere Diderot, in Lyon, France.
Odeline started her career in Normandie where she built the foundation of her Design Strategist's toolbox with projects like the rebranding of the school of Rouen's Hospital called CESAH (2013). CESAH's new brand identity was developed in co-creation with their patient-students through a series of workshops aimed at understanding how this integrated school changed their life as young patients.
This experience really shaped the way Odeline is thinking today about integrating users' needs into business strategy.
Like in a good rom-com movie, it's after falling in love that Odeline decided to take a leap of faith and move across the world to follow her (now) husband.
Her first stop was in San Francisco, CA where she immersed herself in political campaign work and developed her talent for innovative storytelling.
During that time, she learned the art of persuasion while perfecting her visual design skills on a variety of mediums, including print, multimedia and digital.
While visiting her husband's hometown of Seattle, WA, she fell in love (again!) with the place and the couple decided to move. There, Odeline started working for Microsoft, as a consultant (June 2016) before integrating as a full-time employee (April 2017).
Since her debut at Microsoft Research, she has supported a large and very diverse portfolio of incubation projects. In the most recent years, she has progressively focused her energy on supporting health related incubations.
